SAN FRANCISCO, CA JUNE 21, 2021 – Constellation Brands, Inc. (NYSE: STZ and STZ.B), a leading beverage alcohol company, today announced the appointment of Lisa W. Brown to Senior Vice President, Supply Chain – Wine & Spirits division. Brown will lead the team responsible for driving a best-in-class global supply chain that supports the division’s strategic vision to build a bold and innovative, high-end wine and spirits business with distinctive brands and products, delivering exceptional consumer experiences. Specifically, she will oversee supply planning and optimization, procurement, warehousing and distribution, transportation and customer delivery. Brown will report to Sam Glaetzer, SVP Global Operations and International Sales – Wine & Spirits division.
“We are pleased to welcome Lisa to the Constellation Brands family,” said Glaetzer. “Lisa brings a depth of operational experience that we’re confident will enable us to reach our aspiration to build a best-in-class global supply chain. Importantly, we believe our business will benefit greatly from Lisa’s strong cultural leadership and perspective as we focus on building a diverse, values-based and high-performing organization.”
Brown joins the company with extensive background in supply chain and operations leadership, successfully managing diverse, multinational teams of associates to generate value through the supply chain network spanning operations, procurement, product commercialization, planning, customer service, and logistics. Brown most recently served as Vice President Domestic Operations & Supply Chain at Central Garden and Pet. Prior, she held the role of VP/General Manager, Commercial Product Supply at The Coca-Cola Company, leading the ingredient supply chain for North America. She earned a Master of Science in Finance at Georgia State University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Thomas More College.
“I am excited to join the talented team at Constellation Brands and am eager to collaborate with the team to support its bold and exciting vision,” said Brown. “Constellation’s values and ambitions align closely with mine, and I look forward to working with Sam and my new colleagues to drive outperformance for this incredible portfolio of brands both in the U.S. and abroad.”
Constellation launched its wine and spirits business transformation in 2019 and has evolved its portfolio into a focused set of higher-end brands aligned with consumer preferences. The portfolio continues to outpace higher-end wine and spirits segments, primarily driven by its “Power Brands” at the greater than $11 price point including Kim Crawford, Meiomi, The Prisoner Wine Company and High West. The company began its Digital Transformation in 2020 and aspires to be the strongest direct-to-consumer and digital commerce business in the category. The company continues to pursue the long-term consumer-led premiumization trend and is committed to enhancing its fine wine & craft spirits segments where consumer growth is occurring.
